English fast bowler James Anderson Got Cricket Award


London: English fast bowler James Anderson became the third-fastest bowler in the world to complete 900 international wickets and the sixth overall.

According to the details, the English fast bowler completed 900 wickets in international cricket by sending Ajinkya Rahane to the pavilion for the fourth Test match against India in Ahmedabad.

Legendary fast bowlers Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath, Murali Dharan, Shane Warren, and Anil Kumble have won the award before James Anderson.

Former Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath has taken 949 wickets while Wasim Akram has taken 916 international wickets, spinners Murali Dharan-1347, Shane Warren 1001 and Anil Kumble have taken 956 wickets.

It may be recalled that India reached the final of the ICC Test Championship by defeating England by an innings and 25 runs in the fourth Test. India won the Test series 3-1.

India will face New Zealand in the final of the ICC Test Championship. The two teams will meet at Lord's on June 18 this year.
