MILAN: AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain said on Thursday he was not intense regardless of being "kicked out" by Juventus after hotshot Cristiano Ronaldo's landing the previous summer.

Juventus marked Higuain from Napoli for 90 million euros ($103 million) in 2016, however, after the unexpected entry of Ronaldo from Real Madrid for 100 million euros ($115m) this mid-year, the Italian mammoths couldn't stand to keep the Argentine.

Higuain — advanced to AC Milan with a 36-million-euro choice to purchase — said he knew something was astir when he was left on the seat for the Italian Cup last against AC Milan in May.

"That day, I had the inclination inside me that possibly something had separated. And after that they marked Ronaldo," Higuain said in a meeting with Gazzetta Dello Sport.

"The choice to leave was not mine. I gave everything for Juventus, I won a few titles, after which Cristiano arrived.

"The club needed to make a jump in quality and they revealed to me that I couldn't remain and that they were attempting to discover an answer. The best arrangement was Milan."

In any case, Higuain said that he felt no musings of requital against his old club where he won two Serie An and Italian Cup trophies.

"Actually no, not in any manner. I just feel friendship since they treated me exceptionally well," said the 30-year-old.

"My colleagues and the fans treated me extremely well, however, I never requested to clear out. Fundamentally, as everybody says, they showed me out.

"I instantly felt the incredible love from Milan and they persuaded me."

Higuain — who will participate in his first derby against city rivals Inter Milan on Sunday — has scored four objectives for Milan to bring his count to 115 since his entry in Serie An of every 2013 from Real Madrid.

"Milan has given me something more after a World Cup which wasn't extraordinary," he said.

"I've discovered what I was searching for."

Higuain joined Napoli in 2013 following six years with Real Madrid where he won three La Liga titles.

Be that as it may, he reprimanded Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis for leaving the club on awful terms.

"(Ezequiel) Lavezzi left on terrible terms, (Edinson) Cavani the equivalent. With (mentor Maurizio) Sarri on the seat, he was at that point reaching another mentor.

"Everybody has had issues with him and individuals affront others. I don't have anything negative to say in regards to the Napoli fans, those were three excellent years.

"They cherished me and now they detest me. One day I'll say what I think, yet right now I can't."
